I won AMSB!!!!!

Stylelist:

For five weeks we sent eight great style bloggers across the nation some fabulous treats from our partner Bluefly.com.

We asked them to style outfits, photograph themselves and blog about their looks, then subject themselves to designer criticism and the court of public opinion. It wasn't easy to compete to become America's Most Stylish Blogger!

But they all worked it, and gave us 40 memorable ensembles, each wearing the same pieces of clothing in amazing, creative ways.

While all had style, only one could have authority. So today we congratulate Trang of Behind the Seams.

Trang says she grew up during some tough times, and her mother designed and made most of her clothes. Trang recalls going to fabric stores and learning how to appreciate color and texture.

And now look at her!

During our contest, Trang created looks that were both sophisticated and playful. Her look was totally her own. As Nicole Miller, judging the mini-skirt challenge, said, "I think this is a perfect outfit." It doesn't get much better than that!

AMSB #5: Tie Dyed Leggings

My last style challenge from Bluefly and Stylelist is Plan B’s blue tie dyed skinny leggings. I was going for a very modern, sophisticated, and edgy look. I paired the leggings with a tailored blazer that was equipped with the season’s biggest trend, bold shoulders!

Back to cool.

A boyish look comfortable enough to wear throughout the day and into the night. Here I am wearing the plaid blouse that was one of my style challenge items in AMSB. This time around I mixed it with a leather jacket and some cut off denim shorts. Gotta love the versatility of plaid!

Chain reaction.

A very laid back and chill look that I threw together last Saturday night. I remember buying this "try my berries" tshirt for only $3 bucks! It was from a random surf shop that was having this huge summer sale. I paired the cute tee with leopard shorts and a black h&m jacket. Before I left the house, I did a quick diy with a forever 21 necklace and turned it into chain adornments for my jacket!

AMSB #4: Plaid

My fourth style challenge from Bluefly and Stylelist is a Priorities plaid blouse. I love the versatility of plaid and how it can be worn in so many different ways. For this style challenge, I wanted to create a daytime look that exudes a sophisticated, preppy, and feminine feel to it. The plaid ruffled blouse was paired with a deep emerald green V-neck cardigan and navy blue bubble shorts.

AMSB #3: The Mini

Mmy third style challenge from Bluefly.com and Stylelist.com. It is a Necessary Objects mini in a bold fuchsia hue. I wanted to create a sexy and modern look that would be perfect for either a girl’s night out or a romantic dinner date. I decided to pair the vibrant mini with an ultra feminine, vanilla chiffon top adorned with a bow tie neckline. I combined two oversize vests for added balance and definition to my outfit. I completed the ensemble with sheer patterned stockings, edgy stilettos and a sequined clutch. This Necessary Objects mini skirt added a fresh of breath air to my outfit and I was ready for the night out!

AMSB #2: Prada Shoes

When I opened the package from Bluefly & Stylelist for my second challenge, my jaw dropped to the floor. It was a BEAUTIFUL pair of gray, suede Prada booties with fine studding embellishments! The Prada shoes were sleek, classic, and had just the right edge to it! I immediately knew right off the bat I wanted my look to emulate those same qualities. My color palette consisted of mainly grays and blacks for a more mature and elegant element to the wear. I wore a gray studded tank dress with an asymmetrical hemming under a draping, black cardigan. Layering the two created an interesting jagged and disheveled hemline. To give it more shape, I cinched the outfit with a black and gold skinny belt. The cream gloves that I wore (a “do it yourself project”), was lined with delicate buttons and had open eyelets on the side cuffs. Finally, to make the gray Prada shoes pop, I paired it against sheer cream, scrunched knee length stockings.
