DIY: Patchwork denim

knee highs, prada studded booties, diy denim shorts, splendid tank, bibbed blouse

Supplies You Will Need: 1 pair of denim shorts or jeans, 2 packages of Denim iron-on patches, scraps of pattern fabric, thread, needle, scissors, an iron.

Step 1: Take an old pair of denim shorts or jeans

Step 2: Cut different size squares out of the denim iron-on patches and scraps of fabric. Both items can be found at the local fabric store.

Step 3: Arrange the cut squares onto the denim.

Step 4: Take a warm iron and press the denim iron-on patches firmly until it adheres to the article.

Step 5: With your thread and needle, sew any remaining loose corners.

Step 6: You are now finished. Rock out your new patchwork denim!

  11. I thought about making myself a pair of these, but was hesitant cause I'm lazy when it comes to sewing! (Unless I could get C.C. to do it for me hehe) SO I absolutely love the fact that you used iron-on pieces! Genius!
