DIY: Gold Statement Necklace

supplies: gold chain belt, long gold necklace, black ribbon, thin metal wire

step 1: Clasp together the gold chain belt; Fold the chain in half and position on a flat surface forming a "u shape"

Step 2: Repeat step 1 with a long gold necklace.

Step 3. Place both "u shape" necklace & chain on top of each other. Tie a black ribbon on both ends.

Step 4: Entangle the necklace and chain belt. Use metal wiring to secure chains in place. Feel free to add extra necklaces and chains for a more bolder effect.

Fin. Rock out your new statement necklace!

  27. This is wonderful, but don't you find that the ribbon should be reinforced so it doesn't dig into your neck from the weight of the chains?

    I wonder.

I could probably try this at home if I had the wherewithal.
